2022 Byrd Football Game Notes – Game #4 vs. Captain Shreve

On Thursday, Sept. 22, it’s the 45th edition of the “Backyard Brawl” between the Jackets and the Gators. Both teams are undefeated and ranked in the Class 5A top 10 polls. It’s the District 1-5A opener for both teams.

Kickoff for Shreveport’s best rivalry is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Lee Hedges Stadium, and Byrd is the home team.
