2021 NFL Draft: Clemson cornerback Derion Kendrick latest defensive back to opt for return for school in 2021
Junior cornerback Derion Kendrick, one of the top five rated prospects at his position, surprisingly announced he is returning to school and not declaring for the 2021 NFL Draft.
Same goes for a trio of other juniors, Texas A&M defensive tackle Bobby Brown as well as safeties Jamar Johnson of Indiana and Kolby Harvell-Peel from Oklahoma State.
All three were early-to-mid third round projections.
Miami safety Bubba Bolden, a redshirt junior, also just announced he would be staying in school. He is a second day projection as well.
Underclassmen have until the close of business Monday to file paperwork to become eligible for the 2021 Draft.
As of now, 119 underclassmen have declared. Stay tuned.
