2021 Louisiana High School Basketball All-Star games set for Saturday
The LHSCA/LHSBCA All-Star Basketball Games will be played on Saturday, March 20 at Louisiana College in Pineville.
The girls tip off at 1 p.m. followed by the boys game at 3 p.m.
A large number of players moving on to compete at the college level will be featured in both games. Many others have offers to play at the college level and more still hope to use this as a springboard to land them a spot on a college roster next year.
Many familiar names dot the East and West rosters for the boys and girls – quite a few competed in the state tournaments in the last two weeks.
Head coaches for the All-Star games are as follows: East Girls – Patricia Landaiche of Ponchatoula; West Girls – Jamie Antilley of Red River; East Boys – Damon West of Rayville; West Boys – Kenny Sykes of BTW-Shreveport.
Admission for Saturday’s games are $12 for adults, $7 for 7 and up along with high school/college students with ID. All are asked to comply with social distancing guidelines along with wearing a mask.
