The Manning Passing Academy, set for June 25-28, held on the campus of Nicholls State University and supervised by the Manning Family (Archie, Cooper, Peyton and Eli), has been postponed to 2021 due to the state’s updated COVID-19 guidelines.

For the past several months, Manning Passing Academy administrators have been in constant contact with state, parish and local health authorities as well as the Nicholls State Univerdity administration and Gov. John Bel Edwards in response to the virus. The safety of our campers and staff has always been at the forefront of all discussions.

“There are times during a ballgame when you have to call an audible, and I’m disappointed to say that we are going to have to call one now and postpone this year’s camp to comply with the next stage of guidelines set forth by Governor Edwards and the City of Thibodaux,” said Archie Manning.

“In response to the COVID-19 crisis, current Louisiana policy states that no sleepover camps will be allowed until further notice. Additionally, all recreational camps and leagues in Thibodaux have been cancelled throughout the summer.” – updated Louisiana and Thibodaux guidelines

The Manning Passing Academy will be back in Thibodaux and will celebrate its 25th Anniversary in grand fashion on June 24-27, 2021.
