WGSO to broadcast Karr-Warren Easton rematch as part of The Original
You can listen to the rematch of top-seeded Edna Karr (12-1) and fourth-seed Warren Easton (10-2) in the Class 4A state semifinals Friday night as part of the award winning statewide Ken Trahan’s Original Prep Football Report.
The Original is available on WGSO 990am, WGSO.com, WSLA 1560am and WUBR 910am in Baton Rouge, along with other stations on The Original Network.
WGSO Sports Director Ken Trahan of CrescentCitySports.com will provide play-by-play while former Karr head coach Don Wattigny will provide analysis. Mike Cardella will handle sideline reports.
The defending state champion Cougars defeated the Eagles 40-6 on Nov. 2 in a game seen live at CrescentCitySports.com. You can watch a replay of the game here.
The winner advances to the Class 4A state championship game on Saturday, Dec. 9 in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome against the winner of the semifinal game Friday night pitting 11th-seed Rayne at second-seed and unbeaten Lakeshore.
