Tulane Men’s Basketball to face Colorado State, Fordham in November at Jamaica Classic

Jamaica Classic, 2017 teamsNEW ORLEANS – Tulane men’s basketball opponents and tip times for the 2017 Jamaica Classic, which will take place Nov. 17 and 19 in Montego Bay, have been announced.

The Green Wave will face 2017 NIT participant Colorado State on Friday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. (CT), before closing out play on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m., inside the Montego Bay Convention Center. Both games will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.

The two opponents complete Tulane’s 30-game, 2017-18 regular-season schedule, which includes 10 contests against eight different teams that reached the NCAA Tournament or NIT last season.

Overall, the Green Wave will have 26 games televised nationally, including nine on ESPNews, six on ESPNU, three on ESPN2, three on CBS Sports Network and five on ESPN3.

Additionally, ESPN’s family of networks will broadcast the first two rounds of the 2018 American Athletic Conference Championship in Orlando, Fla., March 8-11, before CBS carries both semifinal matchups and the championship game.

Tulane opens practice for the 2017-18 season on Friday, Sept. 29.
