The weekend has not slowed the Tulane football recruiting efforts this week down at all.

China Spring (Texas) tight end Tyrick James is the latest 2018 recruit to pledge to the Green Wave via his Twitter account:

The 6-foot-2, 232 pound James also received offers from Kansas State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, SMU, Louisiana-Monroe, Abilene Christian and Texas State. He also received an invite to the regional NIKE: The Opening weekend in Dallas and camped at both Oklahoma and TCU.

With five commitments over the past week, Tulane now has 13 pledges for the Class of 2018. He is the second tight end (McKinley High’s Joshua Quiett) among the commitments.
