Soccer: Riverdale blanks St. Martin’s Episcopal to stay unbeaten

Riverdale continued its hot start to the season Thursday.

The Rebels boys soccer squad shutout St. Martin’s Episcopal 5-0 to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Antonio Romero led the way with a pair of goals for the Rebels. Riverdale will play at Belle Chasse next Tuesday in a District 7-II contest at 6 p.m. The Saints (1-3) dropped their third straight contest and will play in the Ascension Christian Tournament this weekend.
