Six total games set for broadcast across ESPN3 and Eleven Sports networks

FRISCO, Texas – The Southland Conference and its television partners have determined the broadcast schedule for the final week of the basketball regular season. ESPN3 and Eleven Sports will each offer multiple games across their platforms.

On Feb. 28, the Eleven Sports selection has changed. The network will now feature the Southeastern Louisiana at New Orleans men’s game that night. The Lions and Privateers have both clinched spots in the Southland tournament, and are now fighting for top seeds.

As previously announced, ESPN3 will feature institutional productions of two women’s games Feb. 28. First, Central Arkansas visits Sam Houston State. The Sugar Bears have won three straight and earned a spot in the conference tournament, where they’ll be looking for a third consecutive championship. Later, Stephen F. Austin hosts Abilene Christian.

March 3, ESPN3 will showcase the Stephen F. Austin at Sam Houston State doubleheader. The women’s game features the Bearkats hosting the Ladyjacks, who are currently only a half game back of first place. On the men’s side, byes in the tournament may be on the line when rivals meet.

Also on March 3, Eleven Sports is set to bring the men’s game between Nicholls and Southeastern Louisiana to a national audience. The Colonels are currently in first place, trying to complete their first Southland regular season championship since 1998. The Colonels-Lions affair will be the middle game of an NCAA hoops tripleheader on Eleven Sports, sandwiched between Big Sky and Atlantic 10 action.

Broadcasts on ESPN3 are available via WatchESPN.com and ESPN apps. All Southland games on Eleven Sports are simulcast on the Southland Digital Network, available via Southland.org/live and Southland Conference apps.
