Reports: Pelicans signing guard Jameer Nelson
The New Orleans Pelicans and free agent guard Jameer Nelson have agreed to deal, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Saturday afternoon.
Nelson, 35, and the Pelicans agreed to a one-year deal, according to Yahoo! Sports.
In 75 games and 39 starts last season with the Denver Nuggets, the 10-year veteran Nelson scored 9.2 points per game.
New Orleans will waive reserve guard Jordan Crawford to make room for Nelson, according to ESPN.
