Recruiting: Texas prep safety Larry Brooks commits to Tulane
Tulane’s 2018 football recruiting commitment list grew by one with the addition of 3 star safety Larry Brooks.
The Kennedale, Texas product was pursued by Texas State, Arkansas State, ULM, Stephen F. Austin but a late offer last week arriving from Tulane. The 6-foot 185 pounder originally committed to ULM, but that all changed with the Green Wave offer in hand.
Tulane now has 21 pledges for the upcoming class includign four within the past week.
Brooks, who recorded over 100 tackles and three interceptions last season, has played cornerback. He is not a violent tackler, but very efficient. He has participated in 4 X 100, 4 X 200 and 4 X 400 meter relays.
