Tulane gained another commitment for the 2018 class.

Running back Simi Bakare out of Cedar Ridge High (Texas) is the second running back pledge for the class, joining Cameron Carroll from Flowood, Miss.

The 6-foot, 184 pounder represents the 15th overall pledge for Tulane’s 2018 class.

Shifty and good at using jump cuts, Bakare rarely gives the defender a good shot at him and hits the hole hard with good body lean.

Bakare has offers from Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M Commerce but the SEC’s Texas A&M Aggies has been watching.

Meanwhile, keep an eye on a few other prospects that are high on Tulane’s wish list.

Running back Jarveon Howard (5-10, 202, 4.5) from Columbia, Miss. has Tulane in company with Southern Miss, Mississippi State and Ole Miss while ULL, Memphis, Tennessee and Syracuse are monitoring with interest.

Former LSU quarterback Lindsey Scott , currently at East Mississippi Community College, has drawn offers from Tulane, UTSA, New Mexico State and Western Michigan. He has interests from Illinois, Missouri, Virginia, Oregon, UCF and Indiana.
