Nicholls Football adds three on National Signing Day
THIBODAUX, La. – Nicholls State University head football coach Tim Rebowe signed three student-athletes on National Signing Day, the fourth-year head coach announced Wednesday at the Signing Day Press Conference presented by Rotolo’s in the Harold J. Callais Memorial Recreation Center.
The three additions give the Colonels a 10-member class for 2018.
Joining the seven early signees, which were announced on Dec. 20 in college football’s first-ever early signing period, is South Lafourche offensive lineman Chad Cheramie (Golden Meadow), and in-state transfers wide receiver Gabe Fuselier (St. Martinville /Catholic-New Iberia HS/ Louisiana-Lafayette) and tight end Byr’Kiethon Mouton (Lafayette/Acadiana HS/LSU).
All 10 of the signees in the 2018 class are natives of Louisiana. Last season, Coach Rebowe’s Colonels featured the most Louisiana products of any Division I football team in the country.
The Colonels will begin spring practice on Wednesday, February 28, and their annual Spring Game is scheduled for Saturday, March 24.
