Jordan Loving of Riverside named Prep Player of Week
Riverside quarterback Jordan Loving is the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl/Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, CrescentCitySports.com and Friday Night Football Prep Player of the Week for Week 12.
A senior, Loving completed 25-of-31 passes for 358 yards and six touchdowns as fifth-seeded Riverside downed fourth-seed Dunham 62-42 in the Division III state quarterfinals. Loving is coached by Chris Lachney.
Loving will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Quarterback Club on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at noon at Rock ‘n’ Bowl, 3016 South Carrollton Avenue.
The Quarterback Club meets weekly each Tuesday at noon at Rock ‘n’ Bowl and is open to the public. Lunch is served and there are speakers on the New Orleans Saints, LSU, Tulane and prep football each week.
