Holy Cross pulls away from Bonnabel on lanes

Holy Cross broke open a close match in the final game to take a 20-7 victory over Bonnabel Thursday at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner.

The Bruins and Tigers were deadlocked at 4-4 after the first game and Holy Cross edged out to a 10-6 lead heading into the final game, when it won seven of the eight points and the three-point total pins bonus.

Bryan Arena led the Tigers with a 615 series on games of 190-205-220. Carter Holmes had a 556 series for Holy Cross.

Alahna DeGruy paced Bonnabel’s co-ed team with a 647 series on games of 185-245-217.

Bonnabel has a difficult test with Brother Martin Monday at AMF, while Holy Cross travels across the river to face Archbishop Shaw at Westside.
