Brother Martin wraps up big weekend with Cinco Ranch Big 12 title

After winning dual meets against Katy High and Katy Taylor High Friday, Brother Martin wrapped up a big weekend in Texas by winning the Cinco Ranch Big 12 Tournament Saturday in Katy.

The Crusaders dominated, scoring 272.5 points to win by a comfortable margin. Cinco Ranch High finished second with 160.5 points.

Brother Martin claimed eight of the 14 individual titles and had one second place finisher.

Individual champions were Ethan Castex (113), Logan Bertot (120), Luke Cotton (126), Lane Boudreaux (132), Alex Duncan (138), Patrick Evans (145), Mason Masicot (170) and Garrett Legendre (195).

Connor Hoffman (106) finished as a runner-up. Coming in third for the Crusaders were Noah Roux (152), Seth Alfonso (160) and Kolbe Landry (220). Colby Franovich (152) was fourth and Jason Evans (182) was fifth.

Brother Martin will next compete in the Craig Ketelsen Invitational Tuesday at St. Paul’s.
