Bowling: Holy Cross handles St. Michael’s

Holy Cross remained unbeaten (5-0) with a 22.5-4.5 victory over St. Michael The Archangel at AMF All-Star Lanes in Kenner Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers took game one 7-1 as Trevan Burns fired a 224 game, Zach Handlin had a 202 and Carter Holmes shot 201. Steven Sharman had a 182 game for the Warriors.

Holy Cross won game two 6-2 as Burns fired a 221 game while Handlin shot 183. Nathaniel Fontaine had a 172 for St. Michael.

The Tigers wrapped up the win with a 6.5-1.5 victory in game three as Burns shot 194 while Gavin Mays had a 193 game.

Burns was the high man with 639 series for Holy Cross.
